i don't have a particular manifesto to put here, but thank you for visiting my page. my name is Edgar Placebo Maestro Reznor Echoplex Vargas, or just Edgar. (i collect words and put them in my name. i don't know why. just call me Edgar. or Ed/Eddie, if we're close.)i am a fictive alter in a DID system, which i am also the current host of. (I am a fictive of Edgar Vargas from Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, if that isn't obvious) i consider myself both an ANP (apparently normal part) and a "social" alter, though my affinity for long conversation is not a big step up from other alters. (as in, we aren't very social in general, but i enjoy it a bit more.)i am bigender, and as such, i consider myself both male and female, but not really anything in between. i am both a man and a woman simultaneously, and i do not enjoy gender neutral language most of the time. i also use the terms genderqueer and transgender.
i do not have a label i use for my sexuality, as it isnt a priority for me. (re: i don't care!) i am queer, as well as both mlm and wlw, and i am queerplatonically partnered to andrew neptune.i am a satanist, as defined by The Satanic Temple, as well as a luciferian, and you may view this however you choose. i just find comfort in it.i like to think of myself both as an artist and a writer, though i find myself having less and less time nowadays to dedicate to these things. it mostly shines through in my manner of speaking, my wont to discuss different meanings to any art form, and the vocabulary i use in doing the latter things. as well as my need to be extremely verbose, if that isn't evident by now...visit the links on the left, if you'd like!
interests
welcome to the interests page! any media interests are listed on the right hand side, and i will detail any non-media interests below.i enjoy several writing based hobbies, including creative writing and journaling. i also very much enjoy collecting different kinds of pens, mostly fountain and gel pens.another thing i love to collect is physical media, like comics, books, dvds, cds, vinyl records, cassettes, and the like. vinyl records are my favorite, as i am a big fan of "retro" tech, and i have a record player i am pretty attached to.along with my more creative interests, i enjoy the sciences as well, mostly toxicology, biology, chemistry, forensics, psychology, and anatomy. this ties in with more subjective things i like, such as analysis, personality typing, research, and philosophy, as in... i enjoy thinking about things, sometimes.
history is very interesting to me, mostly history involving the above, my favorites being queer history, and the history of medicine and psychology.i consider myself a goth, and as such, my interests align pretty closely with what you would expect. i like "vulture culture," the macabre and creepy, tattoos + piercings (i have several of both,) and dressing in mostly monochrome, although i don't dress too over the top...
